Hello! Today, I would like to share my Shabby Chic Hutch. I had two goals in mind; add ambiance and add a Tuscan feel to the mix.
I'm all about ambiance, so I love to add lamps. On cloudy days, I always turn my lights on in the house and it makes it feel cozy. The problem is there was no hole in the back of the hutch to weed the lamp cords through to the electrical outlet.
PROBLEM SOLVED!!! I had dear old hubby drill a hole for me.
Whala, lamps, just the way I had envisioned it. Nice and cozy!
I added this Tuscan mirror to give the hutch that Tuscan look I was going for.
I added two candle holders and placed two garden balls on top that I found at Tuesday Morning!
I had a roll of burlap, so I decided to add a little texture to the mirror by adding a burlap bow to the top of it.
I had this white candle holder and wanted to add some texture to it, so I added the green moss, placed the #8 container on top, added more moss, and sat a pear on top.
In the basket, I added greenery from Hobby Lobby, sat Pine Cones on top with some antlers.
You can see the antlers in the picture below.
So, the other day while shopping at Haggen Grocery store, I came across these cute white bowls. I knew exactly what I would do with them, so I placed my garden balls in them and sat them back on the candle holders.
I love the splash of green against the white.

Shabby Chic + Tuscan = C O Z Y!
A mix of old with new!
Thanks for stopping by! XOXO ~Liz
