Fall Groupings

Cracker Barrel often has some really cute seasonal items. I picked up a lot of the decorative pieces in the above pictures from one of our outings there.

~Happy Harvest~

In the photo above, I used a candle pillar to set my fall mums on top of. I placed it next to the front door and I rather like the look of it!

In the below photo, we have a waterfall staircase and I thought it would be pretty to place some fall flowers and pumpkins going down a few of the stairs. Here is a close up.

I bought some fake fall mums at a local craft store and decided to place them in a Harvest basket and sit it on my hearth. I think it turned out pretty cute.

~Pumpkins~

I had some candle pillars that weren't being used, so I decided to get creative. I placed my fall pumpkins on top of the pillars and then added some fall leaves around the base of the pillars. Another cute idea would be to add some decorative bows around the pillars. Hmm, I may just do that! ;)

Kirkland's Store

I love to shop at Kirkland's. The prices are very reasonable and they have a lot of nice decorative and seasonal items to choose from. I bought this fall wreathe and the sign that says family there. I love doors with character, so I am known for painting the panels on my doors. Here is a picture.

HomeGoods - My #1 Favorite Store

Have any of you shopped at HomeGoods? Don't you adore that store? I don't know about most of you, but I am a sucker for a bargain. I love to go up and down every isle until I find a slew of wonderful finds. It’s become somewhat of a challenge to see just how many unique items I can find for a discounted price. Below are some cute fall items I picked up right before they started putting all their Christmas décor out on display. Christmas in September, can you believe it?

Sights, Sounds, And Smells of Autumn

Don't you just love the sights, sounds, and smells of autumn? For me, the brisk cool feeling in the air and the gorgeous fall foliage surely does the trick in motivating me to decorate for fall.

Last weekend, a farm close to our house opened, so we went and bought pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks. The corn stalks were neat because they still had the corn in them. I was so excited to come home and decorate the front porch. We also bought a hay bail. As you can see from the photo, the front porch is almost complete. I need to buy some fall mums in various colors and then I will be done. Around the corn stalks I tied orange and brown ribbon and think it adds a cute touch. On the hay bail, I placed a pumpkin on top of it and a scarecrow.
