Hi Ladies!
My goodness, the summer sure got away from me fast. I apologize for being absent for so long. My girl's started school last week, so the house is super quiet which will give me time to focus on my blog and of course DECORATING! I wanted to share some Jeep pictures with you from our trip to Camp Heep, in PA. We had a BLAST. There were tons of people there and we enjoyed running different trails and hanging out with the people in our Jeep club. ABOVE: is a picture of me driving one of the trails with our Jeep "flexing" as they would call it. Ha!
Above is a picture of me driving over many rocks. It was a bit tricky and challenging in spots, but the kids had fun!
We ran our Jeep through many river crossings and through lots of mud flats.
The scenery was gorgeous and the weather was beyond perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better summer day.
Cruising through more watery terrain.
My daughter Kourtney with a friend she made on our trip.
There was a comp course for the Jeeps to run through which was scary...these pictures do not do it justice AT ALL.
Just as in skiing with different skill levels, Jeep trails also have the same. (Greens, blues, blacks, and reds, with red being the hardest.) My husband got to drive some blues and blacks which are on the more difficult side. Can you tell I was nervous in this photo?

This photo was of us meandering through the rocky forest.
See the rocks we had to cross over?
This last picture was taken when a bunch of us stopped to take in the view. ;)
On a different note, I have begun the fall transformation. I know it's a bit early, but I can't help myself. Later this week, I will have some decorating photos to share with you, so stay tuned. Oh, and for those of you that sent me emails or questions, please forgive me for not getting back to you...it was a crazy busy summer for me, so hopefully I will get back into the swing of things shortly!
Thanks for stopping by! XOXO ~Liz

The Jeep Experience

~*~
Having the time of my life...in my JEEP!
This is the look I've been wearing all summer while driving around in my Jeep! lol!
I am in love with my Jeep! As funny as it sounds, I have so much fun in this vehicle! I love the sun on my face and the wind in my hair. My family and I are getting ready to embark on a fun adventure this Thursday, as we are heading to CAMP HEEP!! Camp Heep is held up at Rausch Creek, PA! It is the big Jeep extravaganza of the summer. There will be 120 rigs there and we will all be running different trails according to skill level. I love driving through the forest; it is so beautiful and scenic. I will post pictures when I return.
A few weekends ago, we did a night run up to Flagpole with a bunch of Jeepers. The weather started out sunny and then turned to major fog and rain. The visibility was about 10 feet at one point. It made the ride a little less predictable which was scary and exciting all at the same time, but we had a blast! There were a few obstacles to go over and we got to ride through 3-4 mud flats where your Jeep gets submerged in the watery mud. It sounds yucky, but it was a lot of fun! =)

If you've never driven through the forest at night, you're missing out. I love the sights and sounds of the forest at night.
The photo above was taken just about the time the fog started to roll in. It got very heavy and thick as the night pressed forward.
I'm sorry I've been MIA for awhile. The summer has been crazy with all the kids home and now that they are older they are a bit more demanding and tend to get bored faster, so I’ve been constantly trying to keep them busy. I'm not a big summer decorator, but I am a HUGE fall decorator and can't wait to start pulling out all my fall goodies. I also do a lot of fall crafts, so I am getting anxious to start on some new projects to share with all of you. I miss everyone and will be posting a lot more regularly once my kiddos are all back in school in a few weeks. I hope everyone is having a fabulous summer!

HUGS & LOVE, ~Liz xoxo
