Dining Room Decorated
For Fall
Linking up with Kelly's Corner - Show Us Your Life ~ Dining Rooms
Welcome to my dining room! My dining room is not formal, nor elegant, but it is cozy. One day I will purchase a beautiful dining room set, but for now, while the kids are young I will stick to what I have. I always go crazy with Fall, so I hope you enjoy my fall accessorizing.
I love to display my seasonal dishes in this cabinet. It's fun to change the dishes out when I want to refresh the space, or add a splash of color.
I have a few odd angles in this room which makes getting a good shot of the space a bit difficult, so I used my GOPRO camera to get a fish eye view. lol!
One day, I hope to replace the carpet with hardwood flooring and also add a lot of trim work throughout the room.

Below: I purchased this cute owl at Marshalls for only $12.99. He is super glittery.
Below: On the table sits the arrangement I made the other day! Um, and y'all know how fond I am of pumpkins, so I placed a few more on the table.
I love candles at night...so cozy!
Mr. Rooster
I love my Tuscan style chair that I got at Ashley Furniture years ago. It's super comfy!
I love Kirkland's, so everything you see here was purchased there, minus the table.
Below are items that are in my cabinet...fall inspired! ;)
I love Rooster platters and plates. You should see my collection. =)
I also have a large collection of fall plates and platters.

I love Mr. Owl and his BIG eyes! ;)
Another pumpkin...
Another chair I got from Ashley's Furniture.

Well, that's all! I hope each of you have a great weekend!! XOXO ~Liz

Fall - My favorite time of year!

Yesterday, I made this adorable Rooster arrangement. My dining room table was begging me for some attention, so I grabbed a Rooster I had in the basement, along with a fall garland and went to town creating. I really like the way it turned out. I also re-arranged my dining room, so hopefully later this week I will have some before and after pictures. Now onto the post...
Welcome! The other day while sipping my coffee, I began to look at various things around my house and started to notice the colors, textures, and design patterns. I grabbed my camera and decided to take pictures of different things close up. In doing so, I found a simple beauty that I hadn't noticed before. So, join me and I will share the patterns, textures, and beauty of it all.
This is a close-up of the arrangement I created.
Another close-up!
Here it sits on my dining room table.
Here is a table in my dining room.
I added a few pumpkins and gourds to the base of this arrangement.
Here I added some fall leaves around the base of the candle.
I added this cute fall leaf plate to the table.
I have two large shelves in the dining room where I display my seasonal plates. This is how I decorated the top of the shelves. I was going for a casual, cozy feel to the dining room.
A close up
And another one...
This is a table in the family room.

This is a fall wreath in my living room. It hangs in a bay window. I love the colors and the berries.
I bought this from Kirkland's last year.
This is another wreath that hangs on a door in my breakfast nook.
I like the pattern on this pillow.
When you begin to look at things up close, you start to notice the vibrant colors and patterns. This is a leaf plate with some pumpkins sitting on it.
I threw this in the mix just because I love the colors. ;)
This is another wreath that hangs on an interior door. I love the colors of Autumn.
I love plates in all shapes, sizes, and patterns ...I like this one because it looks crackled.
Look at the colors when magnified. This is a close-up of one of my floral arrangements.
I like the texture and colors of this pillow.
This is a close-up of some decoative orbes. I like the pattern and colors.
One thing I noticed is how much I like berries in my arrangements. lol!
This is a close up of some silk fall mums.
I like the rustic texture of this pumpkin.
I love the combination of colors and the texture.

And last but not least, I love the texture of stone. I also like the leaf pattern on my fireplace screen too! I challenge all of you
to look around your homes and find the simple beauty in different
items. Take pictures of things close-up, you may discover things you've never noticed before, it's fun! ;)
Have a great day everyone!
XOXO ~Liz
