Fall Mesh Wreaths

~MESH WREATHS~
Well, it looks as though I am one of the very few in the minority (according to my poll on the right) that likes to start decorating for fall early, REAL early!! lol! ;)   Today, I ran over to Jo-Ann Crafts and grabbed some Mesh Ribbon and decided to make some fall wreaths.
I added a few sprigs of orange and green floral pieces to finish the wreaths off.
I love plump/full looking wreaths.
These are the interior doors with the wreaths hanging.
Don't you love fall colors? I do! ;)
I could have added more do-dads, but I decided to keep the wreaths simple.
Again, I know it's early but I am going to leave the wreaths on the door. ;)
If you've never made a mesh wreath before they are SUPER easy to make.  I used bendable wire to secure my mesh in place and kept looping it around the wire wreath.  I started with the orange mesh and once that was secured on to the wire, I alternated the yellow mesh in with it.
The mesh is very forgiving to work with.
I added some pillows to my outdoor chairs.  I got them at Fred Meyer.
Large wreaths are expensive to purchase, so if you use MESH RIBBON, you can obtain the look of a big expensive wreath for very little money.
The Mesh Ribbon below can be purchased for $9.99 a roll at Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts, but today they had a 30% off of that, so I got each roll for $6.99.
The orange floral pieces were $2.99 a stem with 30% off and the green ones were $5.99, buy on get one 50% off...so I saved myself a little money with the in-store sales.
I  believe this wire wreath was only $2.99.
If there are any of you LIKE ME :~) that like to get a head jump on fall decorating, head on over to Jo-Ann and pick up some Mesh Ribbon and have fun creating your very own wreath for very little money.  I had fun today, so give it a try!
Thanks for stopping by!
~LIZ~
P.S. I will be linking up with Sherry for her
Open House Party and with The Picket Fence for Inspiration Friday!

I LOVE fall! I just got home from walking up and down the aisles at Michaels. I LOVE all the beautiful colors. I made a wreath last week, but I haven't put it up yet. Soon I will get up a post with pictures of it.
Praying for your sister and her little one.

Hi Liz,

Very cute idea! I say that it's never to early to decorate or at least start thinking about decorating for Fall! I just posted some ~Darling~ Fall Candy Bar Wrappers (for FREE download) on my Blog, so please stop over to take a peek! See, your not the only one with "Fall" on the brain! It's the best Season of the year! Thanks for sharing! Kim

Those are super pretty! I can't even think about fall when the temps are in the 100's! Even though I do need to buy Jemma's Halloween costume before they run out of her size! Fall colors are my favorite! Your home is filled with the warm reds, and golds of fall. So cozy!

I love your wreaths...they're so beautiful! Thanks for sharing the directions on how to make them--I really appreciate it. Also, I'm glad Joanne's sells that mesh stuff. Good to know :) I think soon I'll try making one of my own for Fall.

Beautiful wreaths, Liz ... they're perfect for your fab doors, both inside and out! I wish we had a Jo Ann's here. I look forward to making my Fall mesh wreaths and pulling my Fall goodies out later this month. I hope your weather is cooler than ours right now! xoxo

They look great on your double doors, Liz! It's a bit early for me {I voted in your poll}, especially when the humidity won't let up! The front entrance to this house is just gorgeous.

I love the wreaths Liz! I also love Fall! I begin as early as I can to decorate for Fall, but here with the weather being in the triple digits, I make myself wait til at least September! If I were in your area, I would start now too. Love the look!

Liz, so pretty and elegant the mesh wreaths you made. I love Fall too and cooler weather and my birthday is in October! I love the rich colors and Fall candle scents. I just bought Kitchen Spice by Yankee, I guess that is early thinking too! If you have Cracker Barrel they have Fall displays now. Thanks so much.

Your wreaths are fabulous. What a creative idea and they look wonderful with the two colors together. I love fall colors and that is all my house is.

Thanks so much for the BD wishes and Happy BD to your daughter. You asked about the floral arrangement on the cabinet tops. My daughter made that for me years ago. She just used several bundles of wheat, some feathers and some fruit and it turned out fabulous. I love it. Hugs, Marty

Hi Liz, The wreaths look wonderful! I use the mesh ribbon on our Christmas tree but I love the look of the wreaths. Looks like I need to buy more ribbon! Thanks for joining the Open House party this week and take care.

I'm obsessed with your home. You are so blessed...JEALOUS, haha.

I am going to go get stuff to make a wreath asap (I need some projects now that I am not teaching anymore to stay at home with the baby). Keep them coming! I need you to do one a day so I can just take what you do and make it my own. xoxo If mine turns out okay then I will post mine.

I love them Liz! We are finally getting summer weather in the NW so I'm not quite ready to decorate for fall but these definitely get my wheels turning. :-) You did a fabulous job on them and we are so glad you shared them at Inspiration Friday this week!

Thanks so much for your kind words, Liz! I am loving it too. I had a lot of blacks and reds in a couple of our previous places ( you can still see it in my nook chairs and bar stools) . I still love all different styles of kitchens, but for me this is it! :) loving your place! The entry is just beautiful. Have a great weekend!
