The Polka Dot Tree

Hello!  Well, I am now onto tree #4.  I am calling this tree the...
POLKA DOT TREE!
All my trees are kind of crazy and fun this year.
This is flocked tree with multicolored lights that I purchased at Wegmans one year.  I don't know why, but this is always one of my favorite trees.  I look forward to pulling it out each and every year.
I wove the polka dot ribbon all throughout the tree, and then loaded it with ornaments, Poinsettias, hydrangeas, and sparkly, shimmery, tree fillers.
I placed the 6ft tree on top of my table.  I'm not sure why I did this, except I wanted to have the tree center stage in this room, and there really wasn't room for it on the floor. ;)
On the table, I used a wreath I made last year as the centerpiece, and simply added a candle with some red/green mardi gras beads on the inside of it, and added a
coordinating bow.
I took another wreath and hung it around the chandelier, added more polka dot bows, and then hung little glittery presents from from it.
I'm not done with this room, but thought I would share what I have done this far.  Tomorrow, I will be working on the office tree.
Thanks for stopping by!
I'll be linking up with
Kim for Wow Us Wednesday
and with Sherry for her Open House Party!

Very fun and festive! I love that you mentioned Wegmans...that is one of my most favorite stores but I only get to go there when I go home to PA. How did you get so much stuff to fit on that tree with out the ornaments falling off? It all looks great!

I will admit I have 1 tree up, out of probably 3-4, but I do not have your enthusiasm (as I have just finished putting up Halloween stuff). I sure do wish I did! Please send me some (enthusiasm). Please don't forget to show us your mantel (or at least that's what it looks like on the left side). The wreath on the chandy is pretty, too.

Polka dots are such a fun pattern any time, Liz, but they make your dining room look like a holiday fantasy! I love the topper you made for the tree and I love those pieces you tucked in. I think I'm going to look for some of those this year, too. I like to change my tree up a little bit from year to year, while keeping my ornaments the same.

Hi Little Liz! Oh, what a darling tree! I love it and it's so full of pretties! You are really on a roll! I bought some deco poly mesh and am going to try to use it on my tree - you inspired me so much!
Be a sweetie,

OH LIZ, We love this....my youngest is a girly girl and loves anything polka dot and pretty. (we do!!!!)I have been drooling, lol, over flocked trees on home shopping channels and since I saw one in person a couple of years ago. I finally have a store in common, Wegmans, love it. I know this tree is gorgeous and giving "light" and pleasure to all who see it lit. I love the tiny colored balls in your black and glass candle and pillar arrangement. I would like to "copy" it, would you be so kind as to tell me what they are and where you bought them? You are a shining light in my day and thank you for hard work, time in sharing these posts. Enjoy your day, hugs, Emelia.

I love the polka dots, so festive! ❈ That's a big room, that you can put a six foot tree on a table in there just goes to show that's exactly what was needed. Love the wide angle photo where you can see it all coming together with the rest of the room. ❈

Oh this tree is beautiful, Liz! I love how fully decorated you have it. Would you consider doing a tutorial on how you added the ribbon on the tree? Pretty Please! ;) You look like a pro at this tree decorating!
I never know how to place the ribbon on the tree. I usually end up doing it several times before I'm happy with it.

Thanks for sharing your pretty decorations with us.~Lu
