Christmas Family Room Tour

The Christmas Gathering Place
Welcome to the most *used* room in the house, our Family Room!
I wanted to create a room that felt warm and cheerful.  I love a traditional red and green Christmas theme, as it reminds me of my childhood, so that is what I was striving for when I decorated this room for Christmas.
The mantle makes me smile.  I really enjoyed using the beads this Christmas.
This is one of the bookshelves in the family room.  The ornament topiaries I found on eBay and the rest of the items I found at Marshall's.
My tree is wild and crazy with the bright colors, but that's what I love most about it.  Even in the daylight is screams red and green. ;)
 Below is another bookshelf.
Below is the 3rd Bookshelf.
I found another 4ft tree yesterday in the garage, so I decorated it with mesh and simple shatter-proof ornaments, and added some feathers and red-sparkly tree fillers to it.  Now there are two trees in the family room.
 Simple Tree Topper
My Dad shipped these three
Marie Osmond Dolls to me last week.  My girl's are "in-love" with them. Thanks Dad! =)
In the picture below, you can see the Living Room tree in the distance...through the arch.
This is the coffee table display.  I had a beautiful red sequin candle in the glass vase, but my girl's decided it would be fun to pick the sequins off, so I threw it away. ;( Kids...
4ft tree at night
This present and tree display sits on top of our Entertainment Unit.
I hope you enjoyed the tour of the family room decorated for Christmas. I sure am going to miss the Christmas decorations when it's time to come down, it truly is the most festive time of the year! =)
Thank you all for your sweet comments, too!
XOXO ~Liz

Beautiful decorations! Just wondering what type of ribbon or fabric that red and green stuff you used on your tree? And where did you buy it? Thanks!

Gosh Lisa everything is just beautiful!! So bright and festive!! Love seeing your bedroom also.

I finally spent that $ I won from you on a rug for the front entry. We were having 2 different dinner parties and with the snow and mud that was a must. Thank you for your generosity - I was able to get a very nice rug to greet my guests instead of the little thrift store thing I had down there! God used your generosity to provide a need for this house we use in ministry! Thank you!

Merry Christmas-
mary
