Sea Themed Christmas Tree

Simple - Sea - Themed - Tree
I started out with a blank canvas.  I decided to decorate this tree in a soothing blue with silver ribbon accents.  Our Master Bedroom is blue and brown and since we are rather close to the water, I thought it would be fun to incorporate sea shells and starfish.
This is the sitting area in the
Master Bedroom.
I found some blue Deco Mesh Ribbon at a boutique and got to work.
This is what it looked like once I got the Deco Mesh into the tree.
In this picture, I began to fill in the tree with 3 different shades
of blue ornaments.
I found some silver ribbon at Michael's and criss-crossed it down the tree.
I then began to add in my sea shells and starfish.
I also added some blue squiggly tree fillers to the mix.
My tree is basic looking in appearance, but I I love the simplicity of it.

The tree topper reminds me of sea pearls, the little squiggly blue things remind me of underwater vegetation,  the blue deco mesh reminds me of the water and waves, and the ribbon reminds me of netting. Anyway, I could have added a lot more to it, but I am keeping this tree simple and soothing.
Ta-da! Done! ;)

My Daughter's Christmas Tree

The Pinkalicious Tree, as Karley
calls it! ;)
I started out with this...
then added some of this....
DECO MESH RIBBON
I gathered the mesh, poofed it, and tied it length wise down the tree using the branches.
I ran the mesh all around the tree.
I added Christmas Ribbon and ran it length wise down the tree just like I did with the mesh, and tied it in using the branches.
Now the tree is beginning to take shape.
I added ornaments and placed the tree back on the table.  I must admit, Karley's tree looks pretty from the street as you drive up to the house.
I still have a few more tree topper things to add, but other than that...it's done! =)
The "tree skirt" is actually a rug that I decided to use instead. lol! ;)
I love the reflection in the mirror.
We hung a wreath on her bathroom door using a Command Hook.
Woot -Woot!!
Karley loves Mr. Owl!

I will be working on my Master Bedroom tree tomorrow and will post pictures later this week.
Have a great week everyone! =)

Christmas Mantle #2

Our Living Room Mantle Decorated
For Christmas...
Daytime
At night...
I used gold Mardi Gras Beads and attached them to the garland, dropped an ornament at the end of each bead, and then varied them at
different heights.
I love my wreath. Kristen from Kristen's Creations made this wreath last year, so I started out using this wreath as my inspiration.
 A close-up
I added the same plaid mesh in my garland, and added two different kinds of bows.
I just love using the beads to make a swagged garland.
Another look...
I placed my gold glittered Christmas cones on black candle-holders to add height.
I *L O V E * Christmas!
I am looking forward to seeing everyone's fabulous Christmas Trees and decorations. Wishing all of you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!

The Office 4ft Christmas Tree

Continuing the Polka Dots
    in the Office!
I added a crazy tree topper.
I used Traditional
Reds and Greens.
Bringing the funky back! Hmm, I think that is a trend with me this year, ha! ;)
 Sparkle.....
Tree # 5 COMPLETE!!
----
On another note,
I made two mesh wreaths for the interior front doors today, and now  I'm about to get on a very tall ladder and tackle the Foyer chandelier.  I plan on doing something fun that I have never done before.  Wish me luck...;)

The Polka Dot Tree

Hello!  Well, I am now onto tree #4.  I am calling this tree the...
POLKA DOT TREE!
All my trees are kind of crazy and fun this year.
This is flocked tree with multicolored lights that I purchased at Wegmans one year.  I don't know why, but this is always one of my favorite trees.  I look forward to pulling it out each and every year.
I wove the polka dot ribbon all throughout the tree, and then loaded it with ornaments, Poinsettias, hydrangeas, and sparkly, shimmery, tree fillers.
I placed the 6ft tree on top of my table.  I'm not sure why I did this, except I wanted to have the tree center stage in this room, and there really wasn't room for it on the floor. ;)
On the table, I used a wreath I made last year as the centerpiece, and simply added a candle with some red/green mardi gras beads on the inside of it, and added a
coordinating bow.
I took another wreath and hung it around the chandelier, added more polka dot bows, and then hung little glittery presents from from it.
I'm not done with this room, but thought I would share what I have done this far.  Tomorrow, I will be working on the office tree.
