Hi Everyone!! After having the kids and my husband home all week due to the snow that hit Washington, I decided to brave the roads and make a trip to Ross!! As I pulled up to Ross, not a soul was in sight. I had the whole place to myself, ha! Join me and I will show you what I found...
I love plates and enjoy displaying them around the house. I found this large plate with a serrated edge and really liked the Paisley design.
Check out the back of the plate, it is also decorative, which I thought was neat! This plate was only $11.99, which is a great deal for a large plate.
Here is another plate I found. I love the colors and design, and it was a steal of a deal at only $6.99.
Ok, y'all know how much I love Book Boxes, but when I came across these French book boxes, I had to have them. I'm slowly beginning to add lighter tones around the house.
I love the Linen/Burlap look. I saw similar book boxes at a few upscale antique stores this week and they were $39.00 and $59.00 for various sized book boxes. Mine were inexpensive. The small one was $6.99, the middle sized one was $8.99, and the large one was $9.99, not bad, right?
I like the keys and postal stamps, very cute!
I had to have this one with my upcoming trip.
I also found two lamps with dark brown bases with Linen/Burlap looking shades. I have plans for the shades. I plan to purchase some vintage French graphics to transfer onto the shades.
And finally, here is one last look at my "buys"...I am hoping to put a cute "french" inspired vignette together, so stay tuned! Have a great weekend, everyone! xo ~Liz

Great finds, Liz! You are a brave soul to venture out in that weather!! But, what a great place to venture to! That should ease the cabin fever! Can't wait to see how you use your finds!
I love book boxes! They can be used in so many ways. The lamps are so cute but those plates are gorgeous! You did good girl!
Good for you Liz! I'm glad you were able to get out - the cabin fever really sets in once things ice or slush over and the kids can't get outside anymore. I have a Marshall's gift card burning a hole in my pocket - if I can just make it til Monday! I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.....
love the burlap books~!
Love it all, Liz! Cant wait to see your vignettes!! :)

Hi, Liz
I am in love! Great finds and you live next to an awesome Ross. The Ross by my house is awful and the people that work there they are awful too. I need to move to a bigger city. LOL Have a great weekend.

Wow, you gotta love Ross! I love those plates!!
AWESOME finds, Liz! I never shop at Ross - however, your frequent trips and fabulous finds make me want to. Thanks for the inspiration to try!
You always have the best luck at Ross! Me? Not so much at our Ross here. It seems to be filled with the same stuff that nobody wants. I'm gonna head over there today though, to see if I might get lucky and get a couple of lamps like yours. I love their shape. Thanks for sharing your finds. By the way, my bil and sil live in Gig Harbor. Is that near you?
Liz, you are brave to battle icy roads....we got a winter mess in Philly area over-nite.I love your beautiful finds, the plates are stunning and the lamps, can't wait to see the French motifs. Thanks for sharing your finds and store name. Keep warm.
You are one determined chick to brave the roads, but, after having kids and a hubby at home all week, I'd have to get out, too! I love what you found ... I was just in Ross and they had NOTHING close to the great things you found! Looking forward to seeing where you place everything!
