Well, I did it again, I changed the mantle a little. I took down the picture I had there previously and replaced it with two black framed-beveled mirrors.
I added a few topiary balls to the mix and some wooden decorative balls. I also added a basket and placed a fern in it.
I added some grapes down below.
I left the antlers.
See the picture below? Well, that picture was on the mantle and now it has found its new home on the rounded wall. I just had to have something on that wall. I had a big black mirror there before, but wanted a change.
I think it makes the room feel much cozier now. My girl's noticed the change right away when they returned home from school yesterday and they loved it! My hubby on the other hand didn't notice it until much later. Isn't it funny how men can be completely clueless of a change until much later?
lol! ;)
Sure, the picture is not curved, nor is the table, but I think it works. The rounded wall is so large in scale that I felt it needed something there to balance it.
You can see the curve above.
The table you are seeing used to be in the kitchen. Well, I made a change in there over the weekend. I brought back my hutch, boy have I missed it. I added all the new French decor to the hutch, and it looks really cute. I will share that later this week.
See the arrangement in the picture below? Well, I got everything at Hobby Lobby last week. I got the two green pots in the spring decor section. All I did was pop a fern into the pot and placed a twig ball on top. I think it looks like it came that way even though it didn't. I purchased two feather balls. I placed one in the small pot and set the other small one beside it.
I love this little garden Fleur de Lis.
Here is one last look. I think it adds warmth to the room with a slight Tuscan flare.
Thanks for stopping by! xo ~Liz

Love everything, Liz! I love how you added the picture and table to the rounded wall it looks so pretty!! I cannot wait to see your hutch!
I love this arrangement better than the one before. The black frames pick up the black in the fireplace screen. The basket mimics the brown in the mantle as do the wooden balls and the pot. It looks so thought out and cute! You are my inspiration when I decorate my home. I always look forward to coming here. I have tried the water diet also but am not losing as fast as you are. I'm watching my diet closely but need to add more veggies.
Beautiful changes Liz, I love the new look of your mantel and your cabinet vignette looks beautiful too!! You have the prettiest accessories!
I see your magic touch is still going strong, Liz. It looks beautiful, the painting is gorgeous. I am now in the mood to drive 90 minutes to my nearest Hobby Lobby! xo
I love the new changes, Liz! The artwork on the wall is beautiful. At least your hubby noticed that day that you had changed things! Mine will ask, "is that new"? me: "No, it's been there two weeks"! ha-ha He notices, just not right away. lol
Have a blessed day~
It looks awesome, Liz! The sconces on the curved wall are what make the whole thing WORK, at least that is what I think. LOVE that cabinet! The mantle looks beautiful. I was just looking at mirrors at Home Goods today. XO, Pinky
Hobby Lobby had such a great sale last week, Liz. I don't know if it is still going on, but it looked like EVERYTHING was 50% off. I had to keep smacking my hand from touching anything; because once you touch it, it's that much closer to getting in your cart! I can't wait to see your hutch all decorated!
Liz, love the new looks! The vignette on the curved wall is so pretty! Love all of your new pretties! You just have the magic touch!
I love your small changes Liz! They make a huge impact.
All your changes are gorgeous!! I love your beautiful home!
Looks lovely, especially the curved wall - where did you buy the chest on that wall? Please don't say "Ross". we don't have one here ;-)
It all looks just gorgeous Liz! It kind of even has a bit of a Spring-y feel to it or maybe that is just me longing for Spring! LOL!

P.S. Getting ready to make the salad from your previous post for dinner tonight! :-)
HI Liz, I really like your new arrangement. I think it turned out great. Looking forward to the hutch. We have 2 china hutches in our dining room area....talked to hubby about that last night, we have SOOO many dishes, because of ours and then heirlooms, handpainted roses, by his grandmother, so it is crowded but we make it work.
I really like your style, and how you arrange things, Very creative and you give me so many ideas, I really like visiting your blog I get so many wonderful ideas.
Thank you.
Blessings,
debbie
You always do such an amazing job! Your mantle looks great. Can't wait to see your hutch back and what you are going to do with it! xoxo Jeanette
I love it! It looks so good. I can't wait to see your hutch! I have to share a funny story. You were saying how men don't pick up on change for awhile. (Even though they live in the same house and walk by the same things we do.) One year I had decorated a 7 1/2 foot Christmas tree. It was huge and it was beautiful. A days latter while my husband was gone I started to think that the tree would look better in our den. I moved the tree fully decorated ...And heavy...all the way to the to the den! Made sure it looked beautiful and was happy. My husband came home and walked by the spot where the tree was and didn't notice it was gone until the NEXT DAY!!!! I notice if someone moves my coasters a little to the left on my coffee table. HA! too funny. Keep up the great work with the water diet. I have told many friends about it.
Nice work

Hi Liz, agree with Allyson and can't wait to see the French inspired hutch. You are genius to figure out the large curved wall. It is so stunning and elegant. I love the greens, Fleur Di Lis and black mirrors, they are all classics and stand out against the stone work.Thank you Liz, for my daily get up and go and inspiration, your wonderful and so positive, hugs, Emelia.
Great job, Liz! Your print looks wonderful on the curved wall. Beautiful vignettes on both the table and your mantel ... as always! And, I love that you added shed antlers, too! xoxo
