~Welcome to the Family Room~
Well, as you can see, Christmas is packed away. I finally managed to get the Family Room dusted, polished, and organized. I'm sure I will be in "tweaking-mode" for awhile, but this is what the Family Room looks like now.

I love the amber colored crackled glass, so cozy looking!

Don't laugh, but the house still feels a bit naked without all the Christmas decor, do you feel the same way when you take your Christmas down?

It was raining outside today, see the water on the windows? ;)

I hope you enjoyed the tour. Have a great week everyone! Oh, and please-please forgive me for not responding back to anyone. My children and husband go back to work and school tomorrow, so then I will have more time to catch-up with everyone. Happy Decorating! ~Liz

Liz, your familyroom is gorgeous and I love your decor and vignettes, they are so pretty. Isn't it nice to have all the clutter of Christmas packed away and things all clean again? Hugs, Marty
Your family room is lovely Liz. I agree with Marty, having it all clean and uncluttered is such a wonderful feeling.
I agree- our homes do look so naked once the Christmas decor is gone. Your home looks beautiful as always! I finally am getting the hang of blogging and updated my page. I have always had my favorite blogs listed but now it shows a picture and a snippet of your blog!
I agree. I always get a case of the blues when I take down our Christmas decor. We drove up to our house tonight and with no lights it looks so dark and boring :( I took down our decor today but didn't have a chance to re-accessorize. I will say it is nice to clean without having to move all the decorations.
Liz, what a warm and inviting family room. It is so pretty! You have an eye for decorating.
Liz-It looks just gorgeous- You have a beautiful home and your love of it shows in everything you do! My house always feels a bit naked when I pack Christnas away- xo Diana
Liz, everything looks so pretty. Your family room is so cozy and inviting! I LOVE all of the ceramics. I finally got Christmas packed up today; and I'm so excited to start rearranging things tomorrow. You home looks gorgeous!
Beautiful room Liz! Where in the world did you get that mirror? Love it!
Liz, I love your home during Christmas and after too! It is always beautiful, you decorate so beautifully. I still haven't started taking down Christmas, haven't been home long enough to start!!:):) XO, Pinky
Beautiful family room. I love all your accents. You have the magic touch, that's for sure. xo
Love the family room! And yes my house did feel naked/empty after taking down all the Christmas decor. Your house seems like it has such a great layout! And you decorate it so well. I'm a big fan of the big windows!
Hey Liz, I have been a HUGE follower of your blog for so long. I love it! Can you tell me where you found your long curtains in the family room? I am in desperate need of some, but can't find long. Thanks for your help!
Ever so cozy! Kids here don't go back til the 9th!
Looks very nice and cozy Liz. I feel the same as you when I take down my Christmas decor the house feels naked! I have yet to do it though so you are one up on me!
Liz, I love love love everything!! You have done such a great job getting your house put back together! I agree everything feels bare with Christmas stuff down but it's a nice change :)
Hi Liz! You have been busy! It looks so warm and cozy. I just love all of your Tuscan items. I am slowly packing my Christmas STUFF away and trying to rearrange for a fresh new year! Happy Decorating~ Andrea (ps.... I love that I can comment now)

It's looking really cozy, Liz! This is such a nice room and even on a rainy day, you get so much light in here!
I love it Liz, your home is beautiful and SO my style, I love the Tuscan look. Hope you can find time to blog hop more, I love when you visit ;-)
Hi Liz, I wish you could bottle your energy and sprinkle some on us!!!!I love it all. After all the decor of green and red glitter comes down, the house feels sparse? Not a word I use a lot, LOL!The wreath and candle on your table is lovely and all the different jars and textures. You have wonderful picture windows and gorgeous views.Thank you for sharing. same here about back too school, :(. Take care Liz.
I know just what you meant. My whole house looks so dull & bland without all the Christmas bling!! I have a couple of spots that really need "something" that I've been ignoring. I can't take it anymore so now I'm on the look out!
So many good ideas (to borrow!). :-) I've got everything packed away finally and now just need to deal with the blank slate. It's so...... blank, ha! Need to pull up my boot straps and get busy! :-) I need to finish the book I started so I can focus though, everything else has gone out the window until I get those last few chapters read :-)
Pretty as always! I love the warm colors and the pretty decor you've added to your family room.
Hello Liz, I am new to your blog and I just love your home! It really is beautiful. I love to see the new things you do to your home and try and get some ideas for myself. I would love for you to stop by my blog sometime for a visit at www.angelstearoom.blogspot.com. Hope you stop by. :)
YES, girl ... empty is right! I never tire of seeing your fabulous great room, Liz! Love all of your iron pieces on and around your fireplace. And, your bookcase is tweeked so wonderfully! I'd love to have movie night snuggled in on your comfy couch!
Liz, I am always inspired by your beautiful home. You never cease to amaze me!! Your home always looks spectacular and immaculate. I have 2 golden retrievers that I adore and I clean constantly but it never looks like your house! I agree with you that when you take down the tree everything looks so "naked" until we get use to it again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.. xoxo Jeanette
Such a beautiful room...I agree, my house looks
naked when all the Christmas decore is put away. Just today I looked on a shelf and noticed a little forgotten snowman. LOL
Your room looks so cozy, and inviting. I really love the curved wall.
Have a great weekend,
Melissa
Liz,
I first started reading your blog before you moved. What caught my eye was that we had the same kitchen curtains and looked to you for inspiration on what would best go w/them. And I sure did find inspiration, you are a very talented decorator and I love your style. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading your posts and love every update to your beautiful home!
Thanks,
Tami @ Curb Alert!
