Happy Early Fall Y'all!
Yes, I am thinking of Fall, yes, Fall in July! Ha! Fall is my favorite time of year, and I find myself thinking of pumpkins, acorns, corn husks, wreaths, fall scented candles, and the soft amber glimmer of a candle flickering at night. Join me for the sights of Autumn through Savvy Seasons eyes.

My favorite thing to decorate is the mantle. I created three mantles last fall and enjoyed every one of them. =) Above was the Living Room Mantle.
This was the Family Room Mantle.
This was the Dining Room Mantle.
I love buying store bought decor items for Fall, but I always like to add to them. I created this Rooster arrangement using an existing arrangement I had from the previous Fall. The only thing I added was the Rooster and a few Fall sprigs that I cut from a Fall garland. I arranged everything and then hot glued it all together.
I bought this rustic twig pumpkin, sat it on a fall berry garland, added some fall leaves to the stem of the pumpkin, and this really dressed it up!
This is another Fall Rooster Arrangement I made.
I really enjoy creating table vignettes for Fall. I called this vignette....Thy Bountiful Basket! ;) This vignette was very simple to create. All I did was gather some artificial artichokes, grapes, and pumpkins, and then I scattered fall leaves here and there. I added some fall colored glass pebbles to look as though the basket spillith over. lol!
In this photo, I added a rustic grapevine and a fall berry garland to the Foyer chandelier. I swagged it over the bottom of the Chandelier for a fun fall look.
This Living Room says...Fall is here! Just look at all the warm earthy tones of Fall.
Mr. Butler not only holds wine, but why not decorate him through the seasons, too! In this photo, I placed some corn in his hands with a Raffia bow tied around the top of the corn husks.
In this photo, I placed some big wooden acorns in this cake platter and displayed it on the kitchen counter.
Circleware is nice to use to display candles and potpourri, so that's what I did here, and I accented it with a black bird.
Why not decorate your Powder Room for Fall? Here is what I did last Fall; I added a rustic rope vase and placed some Fall Floral Stems in it.
I added a Fall Colored Berry Garland and swagged it over the top of the mirror. To complete the look, I placed a pumpkin on top of a Fleur de Lis candle holder and tied some leaves to the center of the pumpkin using Raffia.
I created this arrangement using corn husks, pumpkins, acorns, and feathers.
Wreaths are so welcoming, so I always have one on the door for every season.
Last year, I created a deco mesh fall garland and swagged it above the front door.
The foyer of your home should be decorative for Fall, so I created this pumpkin arrangement and placed two porcelain pumpkins beside it.
Here is a close-up!
I kept my dining room table setting simple. I placed a plate on a large charger, and tied a piece of Raffia around my plate (for a rustic look) and placed three leaves on the center of the plate. This look is simple, festive, and a bit rustic.
This was the Dining Room table last Fall. I decorated the chandelier with grapevine and a fall garland and made the Wreath the focal point of the room.
This was an arrangement I created, I just placed and arranged everything in the bowl.
This was the pumpkin in the Powder Room.
In the photo above, I added fall colored pumpkins to a wire pineapple cloche.
This was an outdoor arrangement I made for the patio table. I used a Porcelain Bird Bath for height, then I placed a fall wreath down upon it, and set a pumpkin on top. It was that easy.
This is another example of adding to an existing arrangement. I simply added some pre-made fall bushels to the fern arrangement. Again, very simple.
If you have baskets, a tray, or any bowls you're not using, just add pumpkins, acorns, pine cones, grapes, leaves, whatever you have on hand, and you can make a great Fall vignette.
In the photo above, I placed orange twinkle lights on two twig cones. I wrapped the lights around the cones and added a fall berry garland around it, wrapping it in between the lights.
Here is another look at my Living Room table display.
Deco Mesh Wreaths are the latest CRAZE!! Try making a few of your own...they are super easy and fun to make.
I made this one, too!
Here was the kitchen last fall. I decorated the top of my cabinets with pumpkins and Autumn signs.
I filled circleware with tri-colored beans that you can buy in the store and placed candles in each one.
People always say..."You sure decorate a lot for Fall" but if the truth be known, I do it for my Family! My family means everything to me. Creating a warm, secure, and loving environment is what makes me happy. Creating traditions to share with family and friends is what makes decorating so worth it. =)
