New Favorite - Grocery Store!

Happy TGIF!!! Well, today I would like to share a new Grocery store I came across and it's called Haggen.  I was so excited when I discovered it.  When we lived on the East Coast I was privileged to have Wegmans just down the street. We LOVED that store and I haven't found anything close to it, until I discovered Haggen.  Just check out these Bakery finds....I'll let these pictures speak for themselves.
Look at this Fall cake, so pretty and artistic, too!
Aren't these so beautifully decorated?
YUM-O!
Look at those layers, sinful I tell you, just sinful! ;)
Are these not the cutest things you have ever seen?
We had this cake last night and it was to die for!
 The bakery is awesome!
 The customer service is impeccable.
 The produce is excellent.
The meat department rocks.  We got beef and chicken kabobs last night and the meat was super tender when we bbq'd it! YUM!
Checking out was a breeze!
What is your favorite grocery store to shop?
Have a great weekend, everyone! XOXO ~Liz

au·tumn

The season of the year between summer and winter, lasting from the autumnal equinox to the winter solstice and from September to December in the Northern Hemisphere; fall.
As you can see, I am all geared up and ready for Fall! What attracts me to Fall so much is the beautiful and vibrant changing colors on the trees.  I try to carry those colors throughout my  house from August to mid November.  These colors make me happy.
I just love this fall floral arrangement I got from Hobby Lobby. I've had it now 7 years, and every year I decorate with it.  There are no plans to retire this arrangement, I love it that much.
See these Fall plates, guess where I got them? Walmart.  I've had these plates for 7 years and yet I continue to bring them out every year.  There are some items I just never tire of.
These moss balls I found at Safeway and the basket too! I love mixing textural items together.
Here is the dining room.  I am really enjoying my hanging ladder and lanterns.
I tried to make the dining area, cozy and comfortable.  A few people have asked if I leave my table like this every night, and the answer to that is no!  We have been eating out on our deck table most nights with the weather being so favorable right now, so I just leave my plates on the table purely for decorative purposes.  However, I do pile the plates and pumpkins up when we want to eat indoors. Yes, it is kind of a pain, but I love keeping everything festive this time of year.
I filled this glass candle holder with baby pumpkins and plopped a white candle on top.  I love the contrast.
I really like the browns, oranges, golds, greens, and yellows they make this area pop!
Last weekend, I added three basic white shelves in the dining area and decorated them for Fall.
I love to accessorize, don't you?
Here is another hutch I decorated for Fall.
The plates I found at Hobby Lobby.  I've had them for several years and out they came again!
In the picture below, I took two twig cones and wrapped orange lights around them and a tiny fall garland around each one.  At night, it looks very festive and cozy.
I am all about ambiance, so I love adding lights to my decor items through the seasons.
Below are two cute birds I found at Marshall's, love them!
So, if you're thinking about decorating for Fall, start thinking about what color palette you want to incorporate through your home.  I tend to go with earthy - vibrant colors when the leaves on the trees are at their peek color spectrum, why, because it makes me happy!  Do what makes you happy and bring your home alive this fall season with festive autumn colors!
Get your fall goodies out, Fall will be here sooner than you know it....;)
Thanks for stopping by!!

Old Rustic Window Turned Into A Pot Rack (VIDEO)

Hello!  Here is my new pot rack.  This is an old rustic window we turned into a pot rack.
I added a lantern, large pumpkin, and gourd.
I placed a fall berry garland around the perimeter. We added a few cast iron pans and two basket/trays for easy access.
The Before Pictures
There was white chipped paint on the front of the window and this is what the backside of the window looked like.
We screwed four hooks into the studs.
We painted the window, but kept it looking very rustic.  I didn't want the paint looking perfect, I wanted the window to keep it's character.
 We added the chains.
See the paint has a crackled effect, which I love.
This pot rack is better scaled to fit the island.
Thanks for stopping by and for all the sweet comments on my ladder post, it means a lot!
Off to enjoy a latte' and biscotti....
XOXO ~Liz

Vintage Ladder Hanging Above My Dining Room Table (VIDEO Below

... Intertwined with Grapevine and Autumn Leaves!
Hello!  Well, here it is, my new rustic set up above the dining room table.  On the top of the hanging ladder, I placed a large basket filled with corn husks and sat two twig pumpkins down right beside it!  I tied a raffia bow around each stem of the pumpkin.
Below is a picture of three lanterns lit at night!
I originally planned to use Curly Willow branches, but went with grapevine instead!
It's fun to have something visually different above the dining room table, plus it's a great conversational piece, too! ;)
I like the grapevine looking a bit awkward and sloppy, as opposed to something a bit manicured and tailored.  Fall reminds me of all things rustic, so that is the look I was going for.
I love having the lanterns lit, as I am all about ambiance! ;)
I just looped the grapevine in and out and added a fall garland to it.
Fall has definitely fallen over at Savvy Seasons! ;)
The ladder is quirky, fun, and so much fun to decorate!
Love these little twig pumpkins!
Ta-da....Done!
Below were the before pictures!
I plan on showing you the pot rack in a different post, so stay tuned! Thanks for stopping by! XOXO ~Liz
P.S. Here is a video of my pot rack and hanging ladder, if you'd like to see it!
