Incorporate Ornaments And Ribbon Into Your Holiday Decor

V     I     D     E     O   *   B     E     L     O     W
Canisters made festive by adding Christmas Ribbon.
Place ornaments in your lanterns to add a festive touch as well as your glassware, and cake platters.
The best part about using old ornaments, it doesn't cost you a thing to jazz up any space.
Ornaments add just that right amount of festive-holiday color just where you need it! ;)
It truly brightens any space.
It also add the bling factor, too!
Take your cloches and fill them with ornaments that go with your color scheme.
Add Mardi Gras Beads for a fun touch!
I hope you're all having fun decorating for Christmas, I know I am! :) XO ~Liz

HD 3D Home Theater Projector And Screen

Hi Everyone! Have you ever shopped Craigslist for something you "really" wanted?  Well, my hubby and I were shopping a bunch of Hi -Fi stores for a complete home theater system and once we priced it all out, well, it was outrageously expensive.  So, what does one do when they want something so badly and "impulsiveness" kicks in? Well, you turn to Craigslist. ;)
We were so lucky and found someone that was selling his entire system for a great price, because he is moving. We got the screen, projector, whole speaker and audio package for an awesome price.
This is the size of the screen before we put the actual screen on and installed it.
Here is the projector, we had to do a ceiling mount due to the room shape.
Just look at the picture quality, it's amazing how far technology has come.
I can't wait to get this room fixed up, we removed the sectional that was in here, and are placing another one in it's place that's in the basement.
I love having a true home theater again.  We've made several changes to this room, so this is a sneak peek.  When we get the room completed, hopefully this weekend, I will share the room in it's entirety.
Have a great weekend, everyone! XO ~Liz

Holiday Accessorizing

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
Hi Everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today, I would like to share some accessorizing I've done in the Dining Room.
Remember those Styrofoam gum balls I made? Well, I placed them under two glass cloches and set them at each end of the table, purely for looks.
Here you can get a glimpse of my hanging ladder.  I purchased several bundles of Curly Willow from my local grocery store, Haggen, and set them on top of my ladder. It really gives this area a "wintry" feel.
Hanging from the ladder are lots of ornaments which are hanging from red and green mardi gras beads.
I found these cute Reindeer from my grocery store, Haggen, only $5.99 each.
The Reindeer are glittery and sparkly.
I found these pretty glittery candles at Hobby Lobby, 50% off! :)
I also hung snowflakes and ice-cycles from the ladder, too!
Here you can get a better view.
I was going for a festive, winter-wonderland look.  My girl's love the snowflakes.
In the picture below, you can see my whimsical-funky Dining Room Tree.  I love the funky tree topper!
It's fun playing with different table settings. I'm sure this will change a few more times before Christmas arrives!
The large snowflakes I purchased at the Dollar Tree.
I'm hoping to do a video, hopefully this week, to show how I have layered my table, so more to come on this...
Thanks for stopping by! XOXO ~Liz
