Hello! Today, I would like to share our family room Entertainment Unit. I love anything that has shelves. Do you know why? Well, because it gives me the opportunity to decorate and accessorize through the seasons.
As I mentioned before I am bringing back the Tuscan "feel" to our home, I just love those earthy warm colors.
Just about every item you see was purchased very inexpensively at Ross, Hobby Lobby, and T.J.Maxx, and then all I did was add greenery here and there.
I'm still adjusting to lighter furniture, however, it's growing on me with the right pieces, Tuscan style pieces.
I purchased the two LARGE green plates from T.J.Maxx for only $16.99 a piece, which was a great deal!
When all else fails and you need a little height, just slap a few book boxes down and you are ready to go!
I love this grape pitcher I got from Hobby Lobby.
Ok, I know you're all going to think I'm nuts, but I am breaking out the bunnies EARLY! I can't help myself! I added a tassel to one bunny to dress her up a bit. ;)
Ross sells the most inexpensive pottery in all different shapes and sizes. I got the fleur de lis pot for only $3.99 and placed a green plant on the inside.
Since it's still winter, I placed some pine cones on this tray.
You can use wall art as a backdrop when accessorizing. In this photo I have tipped a metal fleur de lis on it's side to add visual interest.
Lastly, bunnies, greenery, and moss balls make for a fun spring look....and I'm getting ready...more to come!

Very nice Liz. With all that beautiful stuff to look at I'd have a hard time watching TV! Have a great week!
I have a lot of light furniture in my house, too. I love adding darker tuscan decorative things.
Perhaps we are kindred spirits, because I bought more of the moss balls today from Hobby Lobby AND I picked up that "Peace" ball too. When I saw the tuscan style pieces you got, I thought of you. :) Everything looks great, Liz. I like how you add different colors and textures to create a well-connected and seamless look.
XO,
Meredith

Liz, the entertainment unit looks great! You really have a knack for picking the most wonderful accessories and using them beautifully. I love it!
I enjoed see your lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Liz, it looks beautiful! I love the light furniture and your decor accessories are just perfect! Very pretty!
It all looks so pretty, Liz! I'll take a piece with some open shelving over doors any time for decorating. I use moss balls on some pillar candle sticks I have on our fireplace.
The entertainment cabinet looks beautiful, love the acccessories, I have similar plates from Home Goods.

such a warm feeling..love it all Liz!
Everything looks sooooo pretty. I always admire the lighter furniture pieces too, but just know that it really isn't me. You are making some fabulous vignettes with your tuscan style and that's hard to do with the lighter furniture. Hugs, Marty
Was feeling a little gloomy today...then I saw that Liz had posted! Yay!!! I knew you would lift my spirits! (:>)
I love decorating...and I love Tuscan...and I love you Liz!
Your lovely style has inspired me...and I am going to look around and enjoy the beauty of my home today! Thanking God for all He has given me!
Love, Linda
Happy New Year, Liz! I can't even TELL you how happy I was to see that you're going back to a more "Tuscan vibe" in your home! That's what drew me to your blog as so many home bloggers are into what I call "light/bright/white" ... which is great, don't get me wrong, but when I first saw your blog, I realized that I love the Tuscan look way more and you're the only blogger out there doing it (and doing it great!).
Love everything you're doing!
Nikki
Liz , I have the same Fleur de lis, I think I purchased it at Marshall's. You used yours more creatively than I did. I just hung mine in the toilet room on a wall. Well needless to say its coming down, I am borrowing your ideas. I hope you don't mind.
I love you Tuscan look, I have always loved the earth tone colors. I have a love for the French designs, but I seem to always return to Tuscan or more traditional decorating.
Your vignettes are gorgeous!!

Please tell us where you find the moss deco balls, Liz - I have such a hard time finding them and there were only 2 puny ones left at my Hobby Lobby this weekend (but, I bought them anyway :( haha)
It's looking Springy to me, Liz. Very nice. Love those plates- xo Diana
LOVE the bunnies!! I have bunnies out all of the time!! Everything looks fantastic with the Tuscan colors--I like much better. Wondering if you got the small green pot from Ross recently?? I hope so!! Thanks for sharing..Donna
Very nicely done! Your Tuscan accents look fabulous- you found some great items!

Your Ross must have many more items in the home decor section, Mine always seems so sparse and I hardly ever find anything. I love all your ideas and look forward to all your posts!
