DIY Dollar Tree Cloches

Have I got a fun project for you...
"DO-IT-YOURSELF" Cloches...just in time for Spring!
Aren't the birds nesting sweet?
This Decor Ball adds a nice pop of color for Spring.
I had no idea how this project would turn out, but I have to say I am pleased with it. There is something to be said about taking an idea and making it your own, it's fun!
Here are the products you'll need...
 From the Dollar Tree
2 Glass Candlesticks
2 Bowls/Glassware (of your liking)
2 Glass Plates
2 Dollar Tree Birds
1 Bag of Spanish Moss
1 Decor Ball
Total Cost: $10.00
(Can I get a woo,hoo?)
From any Home Improvement Store:
E6000
2 Wood Knobs
White Primer
Krylon "Make It Stone" Textured Paint
 From this....
To this...
Thanks for visiting! Please forgive me for not responding to comments lately, I've been super busy, but I *so* appreciate them, so thank you!
Hugs and Love,
Liz

Liz , Thank you for sharing your idea. I love this and will definitely try this technique out. I have seen that paint in the stores, but did not know it would work on glass. So many possibilities that it can be used for.

Hi Liz, Love your video posts. The ivory creamy color was a great idea. How precious the birds turned out, I would have never thought of it. The yellows are perfect. Thanks again.

EEEhhh!! How exciting. You spent 10 bucks for all that cuteness. I HAVE TO GO TO THE DOLLAR STORE!!! Not yelling... just making a point to myself.
I am clocheless :-( Now I have no excuse as to why I don't have one right. You showed me how...
Thanks.

I did this last year, except I painted my bases black and used a black knob. I also used regular spray paint, but love the idea of the stone look so I may have to give that a try.

Can you tell me which dollar store you use? I have a couple around me but the one I use the most does not have any glass candlesticks or even "as cute as" glass jars/bowls.

So cute! I even like them just all glass too. I'm not a big airing decorator so this is right up my alley as it isn't pricey. Thanks for the idea!

Great idea Liz! I have time to stop at the Dollar Tree this morning(got to drive the hubs to the airport first!)then a bit of shopping.

I live in Canada and here we pronounce cloche-klosh,the ch is a soft sound. That could be our french-canadian influence though.

Thanks for the wonderful tutorial!

Liz, I just wanted to come back and let you know I ended up making these cute cloches for my kitchen's Spring decor. By the way, the stone spray paint was so much fun to work with! :) I wanted to thank you again for sharing this beautiful idea and let you know I will be sharing them on my blog sometime this week, if that is ok with you and, of course, give you the appropriate credit for this project. You are always such an inspiration to me.Thank you, Liz!

You are so creative! I love the cloches and who would think to prime the glass and use stone paint? So pretty! I'm headed to my DT to see what they have that I can use. Thanks for the tutorial.
